Privates Leah/Artem/Maddie
Join us for a special training opportunity for WFSC skaters on Friday, April 10th. Private lessons will be available from 10:00 to 12:00 PM in 15-minute slots with Leah Neset, Artem Markelov, and Maddie Kendig. On Saturday, April 11th we will have private lessons available for Associate Members (guest clubs), from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and a Competition Training Seminar hosted by Leah & Artem from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. This seminar will focus on edges, power, presentation, extension, and off-ice training. Please note that only 1 session can be reserved by each person for each coach. If we have any unfilled slots, we will allow those who are interested to book more than 1 session with coaches who have open availability.
Registration closes 3/30/2026.
A major highlight of this event is the chance to learn from Leah Neset and Artem Markelov, one of the most accomplished young ice dance teams in U.S. Figure Skating. They are the 2024 World Junior Champions, the 2023-24 Junior Grand Prix Final Champions, and three-time U.S. junior champions (2022, 2023, 2024). U.S. Figure Skating also notes they completed their 2023-24 season undefeated, and they later stepped successfully into senior-level competition, including a 8th-place finish at the 2025 U.S. Championships and top-6 finishes at both 2024 Skate America and 2024 Grand Prix de France.
The event also features Maddie Kendig, a junior women’s singles competitor from St. Paul FSC with strong recent results. She won the Junior Women short program at the 2025 Roseville Open, placed 4th overall at the 2025 Maplewood Fall Classic, and competed in the 2026 Midwestern Sectional Singles event after also appearing at the 2025 Midwestern Sectional in novice women.
